I'm a masters graduate of the Edinburgh College of Art in Performance Costume. My undergraduate career was spent at the University of Louisville where I studied both studio arts and theatre arts. My approach to costumes is to view them as an extension of the human figure. Each article acts as a physical metaphor, reflecting the subtleties found in the script's text. I have an interest in historical fashion but equally enjoy projects that allow for fantastical or surrealist elements to be brought into the design process. My love of costuming is only equaled by my appreciation for the power of collaboration. I look forward to the challenges provided by each new design opportunity and forging a strong working relationship with my co-workers based on solid communication.
